Love is illogical. I'm not one for some full on logic, but really. Why do people expose themselves with emotions? Pain, hurt, affection, jealousy, lust, anger. Its almost like mutilation. It's like intentionally hurting yourself. And that's exactly what we do. Expose ourselves to potential damage. Why do that? Why run straight towards potential damage? I don't know about you but I'd rather protect myself from it; not run into it's hungry grasp. They say love is blind. Do you really believe that ? Do we really fall in love with only one glance? Love at first sight; Seriously? No. If love was blind, divorces and break-ups would not happen.
As for me, I don't need anymore damage than what's already been done. Like Kyo once said, 'Why fall in love when it's just something we become use to?' So why do it? To give someone your heart, body and soul to someone else whom you love is just... strange. And what if something were to happen, would you ever completely have those three things back? I think not.
I, personally, have no faith in love. Not the kind of a normal family or friends share. But the husband/wife, boyfriend/girlfriend type love. I've been told that I simply am scared to love and be loved. Not at all. Why? Read the first sentence this pleasant little rant. Now if this nice little LOVE thing were to happen to me, I'd fully admit defeat. Not that I'm trying to prove anything but I know im in capable
